Quinoa Flakes Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 1/2 cups of quinoa flakes

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 1/4 cup grated coconut

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tablespoon pure honey

  • 1/3 cup fresh strawberry (or preferred berries)

Method

  1. Place the quinoa flakes and water in a saucepan over a medium heat, then add the milk.

  2. When it comes to a boil, lower the heat and add the grated coconut, vanilla and cinnamon.

  3. Cook for about 5-10 minutes.

  4. Stir frequently to prevent the flakes sticking to the bottom of pan.

  5. When the porridge is ready, add the strawberries.
