Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of organic whole almonds

  • 4 cups pure filtered water

  • 1/3 teaspoon vanilla bean powder

  • 1 tablespoon of honey or 1/4 teaspoon stevia (optional)

Method

  1. Drain well the water from the almonds that remained soaked.

  2. Mix the almonds with filtered pure water in a blender.

  3. Strain into a fine cloth.

  4. Add the vanilla and mix.

  5. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

  6. Soak the almonds overnight in water with a pinch of sea salt (this step reduces the level of phytates).
